I think this is my most popular article I've ever written, lots of hits on facebook! I couldnt put my name in there, people would wonder what was wrong with one of chimps inc's caregiveres haha so i made myself anonymous! Here it is if you wanna read it
When you're feeling low, there is nothing greater than the compassion
and love that is given from another animal. Luckily at Chimps Inc.,
volunteers and staff members are able to engage in such gestures of
empathy and kindess each time they step upon the sanctuary! One
volunteer came in for their scheduled shift, yet not a...s chipper as
their usual self. Their close friend Jackson made his way to the front
of the playhouse, only to press his little belly up against the window.
It was a loving embrace that could not even separate the coping human
companion and caring chimpanzee. It is at moments such as this that we
are able to break down the walls we build around ourselves, and allow a
little help in the form of a chimpanzee hug help guide us through the
day.

I hate having a fever and trying to work still because I dont want to miss out on money. I wore a mask and gloves at work today so I wouldnt get the chimps sick hahaha. My fever has bounced all around the last two days, from normal temp up to 103. It went down to normal earlier today and now its going back up again at 100. I've been so good about drinking water and taking meds and fever reducers but I cant shake it for now.
I just cant wait till I can do this again....

I dont know what the hell I want out of life now. I've met all my idols already, have an amazing job, dont really want kids haha, I guess just grad school and maybe a new job? Oh yes I need to travel more and see more primates and study more of them, in the wild that is.
I cant believe I wrote a myspace message to bodom and Henkka actually wrote back to me, then asked me a question! hahaha, he'll never write back but i dont fucking care it totally made my day, I cant believe he remembered me at their last show this last friday. He was like, "you're the chimp girl from oregon (something along those lines)?" I was like, wtf are serious?! You meet like thousands of people all the time on tour and you remembered?! It was probably more the while chimp thing, which is fucking awesome because I always try to get the word out about the sanctuary, but that one of my idols remembered is like, the coolest thing ever.
Okay, well I put up a lot of pictures from the show and some from san fran, I have way more to put up but check em out, theres some funny ones! Most of the pictures backstage, we were all jamming to AWK, the picture of me shredding was definitely to AWK. Tim thought my scream/sing voice was awesome and that my windmill was so good that luke had to have taught me how, hahaha.
